We didn't set out to be a hosting company. It just made sense eventually.
Design and development came first — hosting followed a few years later, once it was clear clients needed someone accountable for keeping things running, not just building them. Now someone's watching every site we host, all the time, and if yours goes down at 2am, whoever answers already knows what they're looking at.
